Returning to New York days after COVID shut down my Broadway SF production in San Francisco, Jess and I threw ourselves back into our careers.
Inventing Anna finally hit Netflix a full two years after I’d shot it. I signed with commercial and voiceover agents at Stewart Talent. And after six years of development, we finally mounted In Corpo in June 2023.
I also became a dad. Sarah May Beckley-Chayes was born on September 18, 2022, a year after I played an abusive father in A Christmas Carol and nine months before I played an estranged father in In Corpo.
(Onstage, I’ve had a lot of experience learning how NOT to be a dad.)
